A 5K is about 6,200 to 6,500 steps, and here’s why you should care: You won’t out train a bad diet in 30 days, but you can build momentum that carries through the entire summer.

Every 5K burns between 250–500 calories depending on your pace, size, and effort.

Over the course of the challenge that adds up

Level 1: - 74,000 steps ( 3,500–7,000 calories)
Level 2: -124,000 steps (5,500–11,000 calories)
Level 3: -186,000 steps (7,750- 15,100 calories)

This isn’t about checking a box. It’s about reminding yourself that discipline > motivation, and that consistency drives results.

Whether you’re running sub 7:00 miles, walking with your dog, or pushing a stroller through the neighborhood, this challenge is going to hold you accountable. Every single 5K you complete is a step toward a stronger, more disciplined version of you.
